A simmering political conflict has erupted over the release of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, with two Congressmen – Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, and Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky – threatening impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Pam Bondi and other Justice Department officials.
The core of the dispute centers on accusations that the Department of Justice isn’t fully complying with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Khanna and Massie allege extensive redactions within the released files are deliberately obscuring crucial information from the public.
