BORDER SHUTDOWN: 2.5 MILLION GONE – America RECLAIMED!

A significant shift occurred at the nation’s borders, marked by a dramatic reduction in illegal crossings. The Department of Homeland Security reported a 93% decrease compared to the previous year, signaling a substantial change in border security measures.

For seven consecutive months, authorities reported no individuals who crossed the border illegally were released into the country. Daily apprehensions plummeted to an average of 245, a stark contrast to the over 5,000 daily apprehensions recorded previously.

The administration highlighted the removal of over 2.5 million individuals from the United States during its first year. This figure encompassed both formal deportations and what officials described as “self-deportations,” where individuals chose to leave the country.

More than 622,000 individuals were formally deported, a figure representing a substantial increase of roughly 400,000 since October. This surge in deportations underscored a heightened enforcement strategy.

Officials emphasized a commitment to continued action, stating that the work was far from over despite the significant progress made. The focus remained on securing the border and addressing criminal activity associated with illegal immigration.

The administration pointed to a proactive approach targeting criminal organizations involved in facilitating illegal border crossings. Thousands of individuals identified as posing a criminal threat were apprehended as part of this strategy.

The reported changes reflected a deliberate policy shift aimed at prioritizing national security and enforcing existing immigration laws. The administration asserted that these actions were directly contributing to a safer nation.
