TRUMP'S IMMIGRATION SHOCKER: 182 Threats Uncovered – Border Crisis EXPLODES!

TRUMP'S IMMIGRATION SHOCKER: 182 Threats Uncovered – Border Crisis EXPLODES!

A surge in enforcement marked the first year of a new administration, dramatically reshaping the landscape of U.S. immigration. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) revealed a significant escalation in efforts to identify and remove individuals deemed threats to national security and those attempting to exploit the system.

More than 14,000 immigration cases were flagged and referred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during this period, fueled by concerns ranging from potential national security risks to outright fraud. Of those, 182 individuals were confirmed or suspected of posing a direct threat to national security, triggering heightened scrutiny and swift action.

The agency’s Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate (FDNS) aggressively pursued fraudulent claims, completing nearly 20,000 cases and uncovering deception in approximately two-thirds of those reviewed. This relentless investigation extended beyond paperwork, encompassing over 6,500 site visits and a deep dive into the online lives of applicants – 19,500 social media checks were conducted.

A record-breaking 196,000 Notices to Appear (NTAs) were issued, initiating removal proceedings for migrants facing deportation. Simultaneously, over 2,400 arrests were made directly at USCIS field offices, signaling a proactive approach to identifying and detaining individuals in violation of immigration laws.

A tragic incident in Washington, D.C., where an Afghan national was accused of attacking U.S. service members, prompted an immediate and comprehensive review of security protocols. Asylum processing was temporarily halted, and every green card application from countries identified as high-risk underwent rigorous re-examination.

The standards for obtaining citizenship were also significantly raised. The naturalization test expanded from 100 to 128 potential questions, and the number of questions on each individual test doubled, demanding a higher level of knowledge and understanding of American civics. The passing score was also increased, making the path to citizenship more challenging.

Recognizing the need for increased manpower, a large-scale recruitment campaign was launched, aiming to bolster the ranks of immigration officers with American citizens. The response was overwhelming, with over 50,000 applications received for “homeland defender” positions – roles critical in evaluating eligibility for green cards, visas, and citizenship.

These actions were presented as a fulfillment of campaign promises to address perceived weaknesses in prior immigration policies. The administration emphasized a commitment to prioritizing the safety and security of American citizens, and to ensuring the integrity of the nation’s immigration system.

Officials described the first year as a period of historic achievement, securing the border, targeting criminal organizations, and arresting a substantial number of individuals deemed to be in the country illegally. The commitment was clear: the work had only just begun.
