Art teacher Nicole Morgan Baird Hernandez has discovered that she is indeed still in Kansas and facing a world of hurt.
The 30-year-old raven-haired beauty has pleaded not guilty to a slew of sex crimes involving an underage student in Sedgwick County, KS., outside Wichita . She also goes by Nikki Baird.
According to cops, Baird allegedly groomed and then isolated the student. She texted the boy, then began touching his back and shoulders.
“[Eventually] she messaged him about how her marriage was struggling,” according to the affidavit, adding that by early 2024, the twisted relationship had gone into high gear with sex.
The trysts allegedly often occurred in the backseat of her Jeep. Baird is also accused of sending nude photos and love letters, and investigators allege the relationship continued after the student graduated.
“One letter said, ‘I hope and pray one day I get the chance to be with you’ and ‘I know that I love you,’” according to the affidavit and reported by theWichita Eagle.

Second teacher in hot water
But Baird isn’t the only educator in hot water: Administrators at Wichita North High School were informed about concerns regarding the relationship more than a year before she was busted. She was put on paid leave and then fired.
Earlier this month, the judge determined there was enough evidence against Hernandez to go to trial on charges of unlawful sexual relations with a student, according to the District Attorney’s office.
Teacher Ashley Palmer
Tennessee teacher Ashley Palmer is facing multiple charges after allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with a student.
School officials referred the matter to law enforcement and began working to connect potential witnesses and people of interest with investigators. Palmer was suspended indefinitely by Friday morning. The 42-year-old is a Grade 8 ELA teacher at Sevier County Junior High.
She was charged Friday with two counts of statutory rape by an authority figure and two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Palmer “will remain on an indefinite suspension as this process plays out.”
Teacher gets 6 years for sexual misconduct with 11-year-old
Teaching predator Madison Bergmann, 24, targeted an 11-year-old student as her latest paramour.
The Grade 5 educator in Hudson, Wis., agreed to plead guilty to one count of child enticement and two counts of sexual misconduct after St. Croix County prosecutors said they would seek no more than 12 years in prison in the case.
If she had not agreed to a plea, Bergmann faced a trial and up to 18 years behind bars.
Bergmann was sentenced late Friday to six years of initial confinement and six years of extended supervision.
According to cops, the young teacher was toiling at River Crest Elementary when she became involved with a male student.
Bergmann was arrested in May after the school’s principal called police to report possible inappropriate conduct between a teacher and one of her Grade 5 students. Investigators were shown screenshots of a text conversation between Bergmann and the boy, with her talking about how much she enjoyed the child touching her and the pair “making out.”
Further searches yielded nearly 100 handwritten love notes and artwork, and more than 35,000 texts between Bergmann and the student. Many of the messages described touching and kissing, and how each of them wanted the relationship to escalate.
The boy told detectives that he and the troubled teacher had touched each other intimately in class when the other kids couldn’t see. They also kissed after school and during lunch. She resigned in May.
