ICE Under ATTACK: Cop Bitten, Shots FIRED in Minneapolis Chaos!

ICE Under ATTACK: Cop Bitten, Shots FIRED in Minneapolis Chaos!

A tense Sunday in St. Paul, Minnesota, erupted into a dangerous confrontation when an SUV was deliberately driven at ICE agents. The driver, identified as Juan Carlos Rodrigues Romero, a citizen of Cuba, initiated a series of escalating actions that forced officers to react to protect their lives.

The initial encounter began with a routine, lawful vehicle stop. Romero immediately refused to cooperate, locking his doors and refusing to lower his window despite clear instructions from the officers. Warnings were issued, stating force would be used to gain compliance, but Romero responded by accelerating away, striking one of the agents in the process.

A short pursuit followed, ending in a parking lot where Romero’s reckless behavior intensified. He rammed his SUV into not one, but two parked vehicles, then turned his aggression towards the ICE officers themselves, repeatedly striking an agency vehicle and another officer on the scene.

Faced with an immediate threat to their safety, an officer defensively discharged their service weapon twice. Fortunately, neither shot struck Romero, but he continued his attempt to escape, driving directly towards the entrance of his apartment complex.

Romero then rammed yet another ICE vehicle before abandoning his SUV and attempting to flee into his apartment. Officers quickly pursued and subdued him, but not without a violent struggle. During the arrest, Romero bit one of the officers, demonstrating continued resistance.

Two officers sustained injuries during the ordeal, though thankfully, none were life-threatening. Both were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Romero was also taken to the hospital for assessment and is now in ICE custody awaiting further charges related to the incident.

Details revealed that Romero entered the United States earlier in the year, having been admitted through the CBP One app. This program has allowed over a million individuals into the country, raising questions about the vetting processes in place for those entering the nation.
