BOCA MAYOR JUST DECLARED WAR ON WASHINGTON!

BOCA MAYOR JUST DECLARED WAR ON WASHINGTON!

Scott Singer, the Republican Mayor of Boca Raton, Florida, has entered the race for Congress, driven by a conviction that Washington desperately needs a dose of practical, local leadership. He believes a shift away from current policies is vital to address pressing national concerns.

Singer is challenging Democratic Representative Jared Moskowitz in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District. His campaign launch highlighted the stark contrast between Florida’s economic climate and the increasingly burdensome taxes and policies emerging from cities like New York, where a recent mayoral election brought a “radical left” candidate to power.

“I love public service,” Singer stated, emphasizing his dedication to effective governance. He envisions an opportunity to steer America towards a more prosperous path, reversing what he sees as detrimental policies that have weakened border security, fueled inflation, and hindered economic growth.

He points to recent Republican initiatives as evidence of a party focused on the needs of the middle class. Proposals to eliminate taxes on overtime and tips, bolster domestic manufacturing, and bring jobs back to the U.S. are, in his view, concrete steps towards higher wages and lower costs for working families.

Singer argues the Democratic Party has undergone a significant transformation, drifting too far to the left to offer pragmatic solutions. He believes a growing disconnect from mainstream concerns makes it difficult for common-sense policies to emerge.

His experience in local government has instilled in him a deep understanding of what truly effective governance looks like. Unlike the frequent gridlock in Washington, local leaders are compelled to deliver essential services, balance budgets, and find common ground to address everyday needs.

Singer expressed strong support for former President Trump’s agenda, particularly regarding the fight against antisemitism on college campuses. He advocates for codifying measures to hold universities accountable and ensure campus safety, rather than relying solely on temporary executive orders.

A key priority for Singer, if elected, would be legislation to prohibit members of Congress from engaging in individual stock trading. He considers this an essential step towards restoring public trust and ensuring lawmakers prioritize the interests of their constituents.

He also champions a return of authority to states and local governments, particularly in areas like education and environmental policy, believing that decisions are best made closer to the communities they impact. Reducing the scope of federal regulation is also central to his vision.

Singer anticipates a continued influx of businesses from states with less favorable economic climates, citing conversations with business owners already considering a move to Florida. He believes high tax rates and restrictive policies are driving this trend.

He predicts that cities implementing significant tax increases will face economic consequences, including business departures, declining property values, and increased unemployment. He believes these challenges will ultimately lead to calls for new leadership.

Ultimately, Singer believes Americans are seeking a strong economy, robust national defense, and practical solutions to everyday problems. He is confident that his track record as mayor demonstrates his ability to deliver on these priorities in Congress.
