As 2025 draws to a close, one man’s story stands out as a testament to resilience and faith. Robert Morss, an Army Ranger, history teacher, and author, experienced a profound turning point with his presidential pardon in January. His journey since then has been nothing short of remarkable.
Released from prison, Morss harbored no illusions of an easy path forward. Yet, he quickly began to rebuild, driven by an unwavering spirit. He founded LeggoMan Productions, a film company born from a desire to share untold stories, and recently released his second book, “STILL THERE: A Story of Survival and Penance through the eyes of a J6 Political Prisoner,” prefaced by Micki Witthoeft.
“STILL THERE” offers a raw and intimate glimpse into Morss’s incarceration, compiling forty-one accounts from within the jail and prison walls. A deeper joy has entered his life: an engagement to fellow January 6th defendant, Olivia Pollock, a union rooted in shared faith and a love for God.
LeggoMan Productions is rapidly gaining momentum. In October, Morss brought his team together for the first time in Texas, a pivotal moment that solidified their shared vision. They toured Capernaum Studios and immersed themselves in the script for the company’s inaugural film – a story Morss began crafting while still imprisoned.
That initial script wasn’t merely a creative endeavor; it was a compulsion. Morss felt compelled to bring a hidden narrative to light, a story obscured by history. After his release, he dedicated himself to meticulous research, refining the script into a powerful and compelling work.
Now, with a dedicated team and a growing portfolio of scripts, LeggoMan Productions is preparing to unveil its vision to the world. A gala event is planned for January 9, 2026, at Capernaum Studios in Texas – a location renowned for its role in producing acclaimed Christian films like “The Chosen.”
