SCARBOROUGH NIGHTMARE: Armed Pervert on the Loose!

SCARBOROUGH NIGHTMARE: Armed Pervert on the Loose!

A chilling sense of unease has settled over a Scarborough neighborhood as police investigate a disturbing series of incidents. Residents are being urged to remain vigilant after a man was caught on security footage allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior while observing a home.

The incidents began Saturday evening around 5:45 p.m., and continued Monday shortly after 6 p.m., with reports of a man entering multiple backyards in the Birchmount Road and Finch Avenue area. The unsettling pattern quickly drew the attention of Toronto Police.

Surveillance video reportedly captured the suspect committing an indecent act while looking into a resident’s home. When challenged, the man offered a flimsy explanation, claiming he was simply making a food delivery.

Suspect sought in a voyeurism probe.

He was last seen heading in the direction of Timberbank Park, leaving investigators scrambling to identify him. Authorities believe he may have targeted other homes and are actively seeking information.

The suspect is described as being between 35 and 50 years old, standing between 5’6” and 5’10” with a medium to large build. He was last observed wearing distinctive black running shoes with white soles, a blue nylon jacket with a white mark on the left sleeve, black track pants, and a dark baseball cap.

In a separate incident, a 20-year-old man is facing serious charges after police executed a search warrant in North York. The search uncovered a loaded Glock 27 firearm, an extended magazine, and a significant quantity of ammunition.

Ayden Murray now faces a multitude of offenses, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage, and failure to comply with a release order. The discovery highlights the ongoing efforts to combat gun violence within the city.

Meanwhile, police continue to investigate a targeted shooting in the Kensington Market area and a fatal stabbing in Oshawa, alongside a Scarborough fire that left two injured. These incidents underscore a period of heightened concern for public safety.

Anyone with information regarding any of these investigations is urged to contact the Toronto Police or Crime Stoppers anonymously. The smallest detail could prove crucial in bringing those responsible to justice and restoring peace of mind to affected communities.
