PUTIN UNDER ATTACK: Kremlin Denies Daring Drone Strike!

Russia’s claims of a Ukrainian drone attack targeting President Putin’s residence are facing serious doubt, according to a leading drone expert. Cameron Chell, CEO of drone manufacturer Draganfly – a supplier to the U.S. Department of Defense and Ukrainian military – described the alleged incident as “hard to fathom” and tactically improbable.

Chell’s skepticism centers on Ukraine’s established drone tactics. He emphasizes their consistent efficiency, both in cost and strategic execution, a hallmark absent from the details surrounding Russia’s accusations. The narrative simply doesn’t align with how Ukraine typically operates.

The logistical challenges alone raise significant questions. Successfully targeting Putin’s residence would necessitate long-range, high-speed drones, yet the reported circumstances suggest a launch point surprisingly close to the target – within roughly 6 to 18 miles. This proximity, Chell argues, is unusual for Ukraine’s operations.

Russia’s evolving account further fuels doubt. Initial reports cited 89 intercepted drones, a number later contradicted by Foreign Minister Lavrov’s claim of 91, with a subsequent addition of 49 drones allegedly targeting the same location from a distant region. This inconsistency undermines the credibility of the overall story.

The timing of the accusations is also suspect. Coming shortly after a positive meeting between Presidents Trump and Zelenskyy, the claim appears strategically questionable. Ukraine, Chell believes, would have little to gain – and much to lose – by jeopardizing potential diplomatic progress, especially with Trump’s involvement.

Chell points out the difficulties of a nighttime drone operation. The reliance on GPS or AI-guided navigation would be compromised by jamming and limited visibility, making the coordinated launch of dozens of drones even more unlikely. The details, he insists, simply don’t add up.

Ukraine has vehemently denied the allegations, accusing Moscow of fabricating the incident to justify potential future aggression. Despite the denial, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed Western skepticism as “completely insane” and vowed a tougher diplomatic stance.

From a tactical perspective, Chell highlights the security surrounding Putin’s residence. A successful attack using numerous, slower-moving, lower-cost drones would be an atypical approach for Ukraine, known for its calculated and sophisticated drone warfare strategies.

Ultimately, Chell argues, the alleged attack doesn’t fit Ukraine’s established patterns. They are a nation known for bold moves, but this particular scenario, especially during delicate peace negotiations, appears strategically illogical and out of character.

Former President Trump, informed of the alleged attack by Putin himself, expressed anger and stated a desire to “find out” the truth, leaving the situation shrouded in uncertainty and political implications.
