CASINO NIGHTMARE: Knife-Wielding Gang BUSTED!

CASINO NIGHTMARE: Knife-Wielding Gang BUSTED!

The flashing lights and hopeful energy of the casino floor masked a sinister trap. A man, lured by two women, unknowingly walked toward a calculated betrayal that would unfold within the sterile confines of a hotel room.

On December 29th, just after 1:40 a.m., Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a desperate call – a robbery at gunpoint, or rather, at knifepoint, within the Bally’s Twin River Casino hotel. The victim recounted a carefully orchestrated scheme, initiated by Naushka Machuca, 19, and Tashawana Tuckta, 19.

These two women had skillfully persuaded the man to accompany them away from the bustling casino floor and up to a private room. It was there, waiting in the shadows, that Dominyck Sims, 28, revealed the true nature of their invitation – a gleaming blade and a ruthless demand for money.

Sims, wielding the knife, didn’t just want the man’s possessions; he sought to silence him. He forcefully relieved the victim of $1,500, coupled with a chilling warning: don’t go to the police. The threat hung heavy in the air as the man was finally allowed to leave, shaken and robbed.

But the victim defied the order, contacting authorities and setting in motion a swift and coordinated investigation. Lincoln Police officers moved quickly, apprehending all three suspects – Machuca, Tuckta, and Sims – bringing an end to their calculated scheme.

Sims now faces the most severe charges, including First Degree Robbery, Conspiracy, and weapons violations. Machuca and Tuckta are charged with First Degree Robbery and Conspiracy, their roles in the deception now carrying significant legal consequences.

The Lincoln Police Department emphasized the importance of vigilance, urging both residents and visitors to exercise caution when encountering strangers. This case serves as a stark reminder that danger can lurk even in places designed for entertainment and escape.

Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, another gambling establishment faced a similar threat. A suspect attempting to rob Little Creek Casino triggered a massive, multi-agency pursuit involving K-9 units and regional task forces.

The chase culminated in an arrest in Kent, thanks to the collaborative efforts of numerous law enforcement agencies. This separate incident underscores a troubling pattern – a willingness to resort to violence in pursuit of quick gains within the world of casinos.
