TRUMP'S HEALTH BOMBSHELL: He Just ADMITTED What?!

TRUMP'S HEALTH BOMBSHELL: He Just ADMITTED What?!

Former President Trump clarified a detail surrounding his October medical checkup: it was a CT scan, not an MRI, as some reports suggested. He emphasized the results were normal and healthy, a point his administration consistently underscored. This clarification arose amidst increased scrutiny of his physical and mental fitness.

The former president expressed regret over even undergoing the scan, believing it provided ammunition for critics questioning his health. He felt the very act of taking the test implied something was amiss, despite the positive outcome. Trump has repeatedly dismissed concerns about his well-being, recently declaring he “aced” a third cognitive exam.

CT scans and MRIs are both powerful imaging tools, but they differ in their approach. CT scans utilize X-rays for quick, cross-sectional images, often used in emergencies. MRIs employ magnetic technology for more detailed pictures, though they take longer to produce. The choice depends on the specific medical need.

White House physicians initially presented Trump with the option of either scan during his October visit to Walter Reed. The resulting CT scan revealed no abnormalities, confirming his continued excellent health. Doctors noted his cardiovascular health indicated a biological age fourteen years younger than his actual age of 79.

The focus on Trump’s health has been fueled by observations of bruising on his hands and reports of swollen ankles, prompting questions from Democrats and media outlets. The former president attributed the bruising to frequent handshaking and aspirin use, and dismissed the swollen legs as a common condition for individuals over seventy.

Trump also addressed claims of falling asleep during meetings, attributing such depictions to photos capturing him mid-blink. He maintains a decades-long habit of taking aspirin to keep his blood thin, a practice he’s hesitant to change due to superstition. He believes thinner blood is beneficial for cardiovascular health.

The scrutiny of Trump’s health contrasts with what his administration perceives as a previous lack of critical coverage regarding former President Biden’s mental acuity. They argue the media selectively reports on presidential health, demonstrating a clear bias. This perception solidified after Biden’s debate performance in June 2024 sparked widespread concern.

The administration points to the delayed criticism of Biden as evidence of this alleged double standard. They believe the media actively downplayed concerns about Biden’s health for years, while now obsessively focusing on Trump’s. This disparity, they contend, reveals a clear political motivation behind the coverage.

Ultimately, the former president remains steadfast in his assertion of robust health and fitness for duty. He continues to challenge perceptions and defend his record, framing the ongoing scrutiny as a politically motivated attack. His commitment to transparency, he argues, is in stark contrast to his predecessor’s approach.
