TRUMP UNLEASHES WAR: Venezuela on the Brink!

A series of powerful explosions rocked Caracas, Venezuela in the early hours of Saturday morning, jolting the capital and surrounding regions. At least seven distinct blasts were reported, accompanied by the ominous drone of low-flying aircraft over the city around 2 a.m. local time.

U.S. officials have confirmed that the United States military initiated strikes within Venezuela, though immediate details surrounding the operation remain scarce. The Venezuelan government swiftly condemned the actions, labeling them a “very serious military aggression” and an act of “imperialist aggression.”

According to the Venezuelan government’s statement, both civilian and military locations in Caracas, as well as the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira, were impacted by the attacks. They allege the objective is the seizure of Venezuela’s vast strategic resources, particularly its oil and mineral wealth.

The government of President Nicolás Maduro vehemently asserted its resolve to defend its sovereignty, declaring that attempts to forcibly break the nation’s political independence would be unsuccessful. They framed the action as a failed attempt to impose a colonial war and instigate a regime change.

These strikes occur against a backdrop of increased U.S. military activity in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, focused on intercepting vessels suspected of drug smuggling. However, the scale and directness of the recent operation represent a significant escalation.

Senator Mike Lee questioned the legal basis for the military action, expressing concern over the lack of a formal declaration of war or congressional authorization for the use of military force. The constitutional justification for the strikes is now under scrutiny.

Just days prior to the attacks, Maduro signaled a willingness to negotiate an agreement with the United States, following months of American pressure targeting drug trafficking networks linked to his administration. He indicated openness to discussing a deal to combat drug trafficking.

Maduro also suggested Venezuela was prepared to welcome U.S. investment in its oil sector, citing the existing partnership with Chevron as a potential model. He emphasized a readiness to engage in serious discussions, “with data in hand.”

In a move preceding the strikes, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a Notice to Airmen, effectively prohibiting all U.S. aircraft from entering Venezuelan airspace at any altitude. This restriction underscores the heightened tensions and potential for further conflict.

The situation remains fluid and rapidly evolving, with the full extent of the operation and its potential consequences still unfolding. The international community is watching closely as the crisis deepens.
