Hilton BETRAYED Our Agents?! ICE Fires Back in Explosive Row!

Hilton BETRAYED Our Agents?! ICE Fires Back in Explosive Row!

A quiet storm of controversy erupted in Minneapolis when federal immigration agents found their hotel reservations abruptly canceled. The Hampton Inn by Hilton Lakeville Minneapolis allegedly refused service, sparking a public rebuke from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Internal emails, now widely circulated, paint a disturbing picture. Hotel staff reportedly identified and targeted individuals associated with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically those linked to ICE, and proactively denied them lodging.

One email detailed a policy shift: an immediate refusal to accommodate ICE or immigration agents. Staff instructed anyone affiliated with these agencies to disclose their status, warning of impending cancellations. The message was then circulated internally, broadening the directive.

The situation escalated when a follow-up email confirmed the cancellation of a reservation after online research connected the guest to “immigration work.” A curt notification promised a standard cancellation confirmation would follow.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin delivered a scathing statement, accusing Hilton of a “coordinated campaign” to obstruct law enforcement. She asserted that reservations made with official government credentials were maliciously canceled.

McLaughlin’s outrage was palpable, questioning Hilton’s allegiance. She directly challenged the company’s decision to seemingly prioritize hindering immigration enforcement over supporting those tasked with upholding the law.

ICE amplified the outcry, taking to social media to directly confront Hilton Hotels. A pointed post demanded an explanation for the cancellations, publicly questioning the company’s motives.

This incident unfolded against a backdrop of heightened federal activity in Minnesota. Reports indicate a large-scale deployment of DHS personnel – potentially 2,000 agents – linked to an investigation into widespread fraud within the state.

The crackdown, involving ICE’s deportation branch and Homeland Security Investigations, suggests a significant escalation of enforcement efforts. The hotel cancellations add a layer of complexity to an already sensitive situation.
