Last year, a familiar name vanished from the tech landscape. Dell, in a sweeping change at CES, retired the XPS brand – the very name on my first laptop – along with beloved lines like Inspiron and Precision. Everything would simply be “Dell,” categorized as Dell, Dell Pro, or Dell Pro Max, alongside confusing additions like Dell Plus and Dell Premium. It quickly became a labyrinth for consumers, a bewildering array of similar-sounding options.
