ROBOT LAWN ARMY DEPLOYED: Segway Takes Over Your Yard!

ROBOT LAWN ARMY DEPLOYED: Segway Takes Over Your Yard!

The future of lawn care is here, and it’s autonomous. Segway is dramatically expanding its Navimow line of robotic mowers, venturing beyond residential lawns and into the realm of commercial landscapes.

Imagine a robotic workforce silently maintaining vast fields, effortlessly navigating complex terrain. The new Terranox series makes this a reality, boasting the power to cover up to six acres – the equivalent of a football field – without human intervention.

This isn’t simply scaling up existing technology. The Terranox utilizes network RTK positioning, a 360-degree VSLAM camera, and innovative Xero-Turn technology to ensure precise, turf-friendly operation. Forget perimeter wires and cumbersome reference stations; these mowers pinpoint their location with centimeter-level accuracy.

X4 Zero distance Cutting

For homeowners demanding peak performance, the flagship X4 model arrives with a significant upgrade: four-wheel drive. This, combined with improved navigation, allows it to conquer slopes up to 40 degrees and even navigate steps up to 2.8 inches high.

The X4 isn’t just about power; it’s about precision. Segway’s MowMentum Cutting System, featuring dual cutting decks and twelve thickened blades, delivers a consistently pristine cut, guided by a smart algorithm and EdgeSense technology.

Durability is also key. The X4 is IPX6 rated, meaning it’s fully protected against rain, sprinklers, and wet grass – ensuring reliable operation in all conditions. Its VisionFence 2.0 technology intelligently detects and avoids over 200 types of objects, from playful pets to cherished garden ornaments.

Navimow H2 Ultra Narrow Navigation

Beyond the Terranox and X4, Segway is unveiling a comprehensive lineup. The H2 Series, with its three-wheel drive and advanced LiDAR navigation, effortlessly maneuvers under trees and through narrow passages, even in darkness.

The i2 AWD Series brings the Xero-Turn capabilities to a more accessible price point, while also improving battery life by up to 30 percent through its adaptive drive technology. It can handle slopes up to 24 degrees and steps up to 1.6 inches.

Even the entry-level i2 LiDAR models are packed with innovation, utilizing solid-state LiDAR and AI-powered vision for intelligent obstacle avoidance and coverage of up to 0.37 acres.

Controlling these robotic landscapers is intuitive. The Navimow app’s GeoSketch feature allows users to customize mowing areas on a detailed 3D map, while Apple users can leverage the “Find My” functionality for added peace of mind.

Segway isn’t just building robot lawn mowers; they’re crafting a future where maintaining beautiful landscapes is effortless, intelligent, and remarkably efficient.
