CHINA'S SHADOW ARMY STOKED MADURO PROTESTS!

CHINA'S SHADOW ARMY STOKED MADURO PROTESTS!

A wave of protests erupted across the United States, from New York City to California, ignited by the controversial capture of Venezuela’s former leader. Demonstrations centered around detention centers and courthouses, fueled by passionate calls for his release.

The organization at the heart of these rallies, The People’s Forum, positioned itself as a champion of grassroots movements and working-class causes. They mobilized protesters, framing the situation not as a matter of justice, but as a blatant attempt to control Venezuela’s resources and dominate Latin America.

However, a closer look reveals a complex web of funding and influence. The People’s Forum receives substantial financial backing from Neville Roy Singham, a tech mogul based in Shanghai with openly pro-China views.

People protest against American intervention in Venezuela and for the release of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro outside of the Metropolitan Detention Center in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.

Singham’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party have drawn intense scrutiny from a congressional committee, alleging he operates as a foreign agent. His past work as a consultant for Huawei further deepens the questions surrounding his motivations and influence.

The arrest of Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, followed weeks of escalating threats from U.S. President Trump, culminating in a forceful raid on their Caracas residence. The operation itself was marked by violence and resulted in casualties.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced a sweeping indictment against Maduro, charging him with narco-terrorism, cocaine importation, and weapons offenses. These charges paint a stark picture of alleged criminal activity.

The People’s Forum vehemently disputes these accusations, arguing the charges are a pretext for a power grab. They claim the true objective is to seize control of Venezuela’s vast oil reserves and exert greater influence over the region.

Footage from the New York City protests showed a volatile scene, with demonstrators clashing both with counter-protesters celebrating Maduro’s removal and with law enforcement. Chants echoed through the streets, directly blaming President Trump and the United States for the unfolding crisis.

The group characterized Maduro’s removal as a grave violation of national sovereignty, warning it sets a dangerous precedent for future interventions. They believe this administration is willing to cross any line to achieve its geopolitical goals.

Beyond New York, The People’s Forum leveraged its network, including its affiliate ANSWER Coalition, to organize demonstrations in multiple states – Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee among them. This coordinated effort amplified their message across the nation.

The situation remains highly charged, with deeply entrenched positions on both sides. The protests highlight the growing tensions surrounding Venezuela and the complex interplay of political, economic, and ideological forces at play.
