DENTIST MURDER MYSTERY: KILLER FACES JUSTICE NOW!

A chilling case is unfolding as the ex-husband of one of the victims is set to face an Illinois court today. Michael David McKee, 39, awaits extradition proceedings connected to a brutal double murder that shocked a quiet Columbus, Ohio neighborhood.

On December 30th, a friend’s routine wellness check turned into a horrific discovery. Spencer and Monique Tepe, ages 37 and 39 respectively, were found dead inside their home, each suffering from gunshot wounds. The 911 call, filled with stunned disbelief, revealed a scene no one could have anticipated.

Monique Tepe’s past has become tragically central to the investigation. Her ex-husband, McKee, is now accused of their murders, facing two counts of homicide in Ohio. The couple had divorced in 2017, ending a marriage that began in August 2015, but the connection proved deadly years later.

Police swiftly focused on McKee, meticulously piecing together evidence that placed him near the scene of the crime. Investigators linked a vehicle arriving and departing the Tepes’ neighborhood around the time of the murders directly to McKee.

That vehicle was later found in Rockford, Illinois, further solidifying suspicions. Surveillance footage released by Columbus police showed a “person of interest” – a figure in a dark coat and light pants – walking near the Tepe residence in the early morning hours of December 30th.

McKee’s life since the divorce has been transient, with records showing he’s resided in Virginia, Nevada, and Illinois. He recently relocated to Chicago and practiced as a vascular surgeon in the Rockford area, a seemingly normal life masking a dark secret.

He was arrested and booked into the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office in Illinois on Saturday, setting the stage for today’s court appearance. The hearing, scheduled for 1:30 p.m., is expected to initiate the process of returning McKee to Ohio to face the charges.

The Tepe family is reeling from the loss, just one month shy of what would have been their five-year wedding anniversary. The senseless violence has left a community grappling with grief and searching for answers.
