A chilling scene unfolded in Minnesota on Sunday as conservative influencer Nick Sortor found himself targeted by a furious mob of anti-ICE protesters. The incident escalated rapidly, transforming a peaceful demonstration into a frightening confrontation that left Sortor’s vehicle damaged and his safety threatened.
Sortor documented the ordeal on social media, revealing how protesters descended upon his vehicle, unleashing a barrage of shouts and obscenities. The situation quickly spiraled out of control when his car windows were smashed, forcing him to attempt an escape from the increasingly hostile crowd.
The attempt to flee proved perilous. Protesters used their own vehicles to deliberately block his path, pushing Sortor to take drastic action – maneuvering his truck off the road to circumvent the blockade. He then claimed to have been pursued on the interstate by another individual connected to the protest.
Evidence of the attack was starkly visible in subsequent videos posted by Sortor. His truck’s rear window was defaced with white spray paint, and the bed of the truck contained frozen water bottles, allegedly used as projectiles by the protesters during the assault.
Sortor alleges the protesters didn’t stop at property damage, claiming they repeatedly threatened his life and the life of fellow influencer Cam Higby.
