The courtroom in Alamosa County will once again be the focal point of a chilling mystery as Barry Morphew faces charges in the death of his wife, Suzanne. The case, which began with a frantic search on Mother’s Day 2020, is entering a critical new phase, years after her initial disappearance sent shockwaves through the community.
Suzanne Morphew vanished from her home in Chaffee County on May 10, 2020, triggering a massive, desperate hunt. Initial efforts yielded little, leaving investigators and loved ones grappling with uncertainty as days turned into weeks, and weeks into months.
