FBI ABANDONS Witness in Shocking Murder Case!

FBI ABANDONS Witness in Shocking Murder Case!

The individual connected to the alleged assassination attempt on Charlie Kirk, identified as Lance Twiggs, is no longer under a protective security detail. For over four months, the FBI provided security for Twiggs following the incident at a Turning Point USA event, but that protection has now been withdrawn.

The FBI has not publicly explained the decision to end Twiggs’ security, and he has not been charged with any crime related to the shooting. This development follows the alleged confession of Tyler Robinson, identified as the shooter, in a note discovered after the event.

Twiggs, 22, recently resided in St. George, Utah, with college roommates while undergoing a gender transition. Prior to this, he lived with his grandparents after being estranged from his parents at the age of 18, a situation stemming from family conflict surrounding his identity.

A relative described a pattern of behavior linked to substance abuse and gaming addiction, suggesting these issues contributed to Twiggs’ difficulties. Despite attempts to present a changed image, the relative indicated ongoing struggles with addiction and a volatile temperament.

Robinson moved in with Twiggs after other roommates departed, and the two subsequently began a romantic relationship. They lived together for approximately a year before Robinson’s arrest in connection with the shooting of Charlie Kirk.

Authorities described Twiggs as “cooperative” during questioning following Robinson’s arrest. Investigators focused on text message exchanges between the two men, revealing a chilling conversation immediately after the incident.

Shortly before the shooting, Robinson allegedly texted Twiggs to check under his keyboard. This led to the discovery of a handwritten note stating Robinson’s intent to carry out the attack on Kirk.

In texts following the shooting, Twiggs questioned Robinson about his involvement, asking, “You weren’t the one who did it right????” Robinson allegedly responded, “I am, I’m sorry,” according to court documents.

Immediately after the arrest, a sheriff stated that Twiggs was in a “safe space” and that law enforcement was interviewing his associates. Both families were advised to maintain a low profile for an extended period.

Twiggs has since relocated out of state and secured legal representation. A relative characterized Twiggs as harboring strong animosity towards conservatives and Christians, describing a radicalization process over time.

The relative also noted a growing anger within Twiggs, suggesting a deterioration in his emotional state in the year leading up to the incident. Robinson faces multiple charges, including aggravated murder and obstruction of justice.

The charges against Robinson also include felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, witness tampering, and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child, painting a grim picture of the alleged crime.
