ICE UNLEASHED: The Criminals They're SILENTLY Eradicating!

ICE UNLEASHED: The Criminals They're SILENTLY Eradicating!

The situation unfolding in Minnesota is fraught with tension and deeply unsettling imagery. Black vehicles, associated with federal agents, have become symbols of fear and disruption within immigrant communities, sparking outrage and accusations of intimidation.

Adding to the complexity, the recent death of Renee Nicole Good, a poet and activist, during an encounter with an ICE agent has ignited further controversy. While details surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, the incident has quickly become a focal point for those critical of ICE’s actions.

However, beneath the surface of these highly publicized events lies a stark reality: ICE is actively pursuing and detaining individuals with extensive and violent criminal histories. These are not simply administrative removals; they involve individuals convicted of horrific crimes.

A picture of Renee Nicole Good is displayed near a makeshift memorial for Good, who was shot and killed at point blank range on January 7 by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent as she apparently tried to drive away from agents who were crowding around her car, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on January 8, 2026. A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot and killed an American woman on the streets of Minneapolis January 7, leading to huge protests and outrage from local leaders who rejected White House claims she was a domestic terrorist.

Consider the case of Sriudorn Phaivan, a Laotian national convicted of multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault against children. His crimes represent a profound betrayal of trust and a devastating impact on young lives. Phaivan is just one example of the dangerous individuals being targeted.

Tou Vang and Chong Vue, also from Laos, share similar histories, with convictions for child rape, kidnapping, and sodomy. These are not isolated incidents, but rather a pattern of predatory behavior that demanded intervention.

The list extends beyond these cases. Mariama Sia Kanu, originally from Sierra Leone, faced deportation after convictions for homicide, DUIs, larceny, and burglary. Thai Lor, another Laotian national, was slated for removal years ago following two homicide convictions.

Even more disturbing are cases involving multiple homicides. Gilberto Salguero Landaverde, from El Salvador, has been convicted of three separate homicide offenses, while Gabriel Figueroa Gama, a Mexican national previously deported, later faced a homicide charge alongside other serious crimes.

Abdirashid Adosh Elmi and Abdirashid Mohamed Ahmed, both Somali nationals, also have homicide and manslaughter convictions respectively, highlighting the breadth of the problem. These individuals represent a clear and present danger to public safety.

The irony is palpable. While ICE faces criticism for its tactics, local politicians appear more concerned with the agency’s presence than with the crimes committed by those being detained. This disconnect raises serious questions about priorities and public safety.

TIM, NICE BUT DIM: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz waits to address the media outside Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis after a mass shooting there on Aug. 27.

ICE itself has pointed to the role of sanctuary policies in attracting dangerous criminals to the state, creating a haven for those attempting to evade justice. The agency argues that its actions are essential for national security and the protection of communities.

The current climate in Minneapolis is deeply troubling, where those who commit heinous acts are seemingly viewed with more sympathy than the agents tasked with removing them. This distorted perspective underscores the urgent need for a clear-eyed assessment of the situation.

While the methods employed by ICE may be subject to debate, the removal of individuals like Gilberto Salguero Landaverde, a member of MS-13 with multiple homicide convictions, is a cause for relief, not regret. The focus must remain on protecting innocent lives.

The situation demands a nuanced understanding, acknowledging both the concerns surrounding ICE’s tactics and the critical importance of removing dangerous criminals from our communities. A simplistic narrative serves no one, least of all those at risk.
