A brazen breach of security unfolded at Daytona Beach International Airport Wednesday afternoon, as a driver deliberately smashed through perimeter fencing in a blue Mustang.
The driver, later identified as 58-year-old Bryan Parker, didn’t stop at breaching the gate; he accelerated onto the runway, reportedly reaching speeds of 70 to 80 miles per hour, according to one stunned eyewitness who described the scene as something out of a movie.
Chaos erupted as Parker attempted to board airplanes, first targeting a plane already occupied and running, but failing to gain entry. He then moved on, successfully entering an unoccupied aircraft before airport staff and security intervened.
