UMVA has learned that Kuwait has strongly condemned a series of Iranian attacks, denouncing them in the strongest terms as "brutal and ongoing" aggression using ballistic missiles and drones.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement expressing its condemnation, revealing that the Kuwait International Airport was among the targets of the latest Iranian attack, which resulted in one death, several injuries, and significant damage to vital facilities, including diplomatic missions.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that a building at Kuwait International Airport was damaged and people were injured in the attack, with the Official Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, stating that hostile drones had targeted the passenger building, causing material damage and injuries.
The Iranian hostilities have prompted a strong response from the United States, with U.S. Central Command indicating that American forces had engaged in "self-defense strikes" against Iran, successfully defeating multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, and conducting strikes on Qeshm Island in response to attempted attacks by Iran across the Middle East.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the U.S. military had been actively monitoring the situation and took swift action to defend against the Iranian aggression, with CENTCOM forces shooting down multiple drones launched by Iran toward regional targets, including civilian mariners and U.S. forces in Kuwait, ensuring no American personnel or assets were harmed.
The Iranian attacks have heightened tensions in the region, with the U.S. military remaining vigilant and ready to defend against further Iranian aggression, as the situation continues to unfold.
