The unrest resulted in the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both 37 years old, individuals described as agitators involved in the escalating conflict. Secretary Noem’s characterization of these individuals as domestic terrorists ignited a firestorm of criticism from opposing political factions.
Despite the controversy, Trump expressed strong support for Noem’s performance, stating plainly, “I think she’s doing a very good job.” His comments came as he addressed the ongoing situation and defended his administration’s approach to national security.
