VCU Nurse CANCELLED for 'Terrorism'?! Lawmakers DEMAND Answers!

VCU Nurse CANCELLED for 'Terrorism'?! Lawmakers DEMAND Answers!

Outrage is building in Virginia following the dismissal of a VCU Health nurse who posted videos online appearing to incite violence against ICE agents. Two state legislators are now demanding full prosecution, arguing the nurse’s actions crossed a dangerous line into advocating for “healthcare terrorism.”

Senator Glen Sturtevant, speaking with stark concern, emphasized that firing the nurse – identified as Malinda Cook – was merely the first step. He believes a thorough law enforcement investigation is crucial, questioning how someone capable of such rhetoric could have remained employed. “She was calling for poisoning federal law enforcement for political reasons,” he stated, “which we can’t abide by.”

The controversy erupted after Cook’s TikTok videos went viral, showcasing her urging viewers to utilize “sabotage tactics” against those she opposed. In one particularly alarming clip, she suggested using syringes filled with substances like saline or succinylcholine – a powerful muscle relaxant – as a means of intimidation and potential harm.

VCU Health acted swiftly, announcing Cook’s termination and confirming they had fulfilled all required reporting obligations to the state. However, for many, this response feels insufficient given the gravity of the situation. VCU police have also confirmed they are actively investigating the posts.

Sturtevant went further, asserting that Cook’s actions weren’t simply advocacy, but a detailed instruction manual for illegal and dangerous behavior. He expressed hope that either state or federal authorities would pursue criminal charges, emphasizing the need to deter others from similar actions.

Delegate Wren Williams echoed these sentiments, demanding Cook be made an example of and stripped of her nursing license. He questioned how anyone could place their trust in a healthcare professional capable of such violent ideation. “Who can trust this woman to do right and offer care?” he asked.

Williams also pointed to a broader pattern of escalating rhetoric from the political left, citing a previous instance involving current Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones. He referenced text messages where Jones allegedly wished harm upon a political opponent’s children in an attempt to influence their policy stance on firearms.

The case has ignited a fierce debate about the boundaries of free speech and the potential consequences of online incitement. Questions are also being raised about VCU Health’s vetting process and how Cook’s views went undetected for so long, with some reports suggesting the posts were made while on hospital grounds.

Neither VCU Health nor Malinda Cook have responded to requests for comment, leaving many unanswered questions hanging in the wake of this disturbing incident. The call for prosecution continues to grow, fueled by a deep sense of unease and a demand for accountability.
