TORONTO REJECTS MELANIA DOC: Epic FLOP Predicted!

TORONTO REJECTS MELANIA DOC: Epic FLOP Predicted!

A new documentary promising an intimate look into the life of the First Lady arrived in theaters across Canada today with a provocative tagline: “Everyone wants to know, so here it is.” But initial interest suggests the public’s curiosity may be surprisingly limited.

Early pre-sale numbers in Toronto paint a stark picture. At Cineplex’s flagship downtown cinema, seats for the first screenings remained overwhelmingly empty just hours before showtime.

The 8:45 p.m. Friday showing, typically a prime slot for a night out, had a mere three seats reserved. This lukewarm response raises questions about the anticipated demand for a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the First Lady’s world.

The film, titled *Melania*, focuses on the pivotal twenty days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration. It claims to offer “unprecedented access” to this period, viewed entirely through the First Lady’s perspective.

The documentary promises to reveal the intricacies of White House transition planning and the First Lady’s return to public life alongside her family. Exclusive footage of critical meetings and private conversations is heavily emphasized.

While Cineplex confirmed the film will be shown at four locations in the Greater Toronto Area, the company declined to release any specific ticket sales figures, citing corporate policy.

Produced at a reported cost of $40 million by AmazonMGM Studios, *Melania* is slated for exclusive streaming on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical release. This limited run in cinemas may be a strategic move to generate initial buzz.

At the film’s debut at the Trump Kennedy Center on Thursday, the First Lady herself described the documentary as “beautiful, emotional, fashionable, and cinematic,” expressing her pride in the finished product.

Despite the First Lady’s enthusiastic endorsement, the initial lack of ticket sales suggests the public may not share her level of excitement, leaving the documentary’s ultimate success uncertain.
