Suddenly, their car was encircled. More than a dozen figures, faces hidden behind masks, materialized with weapons – AR-style rifles glinting under the streetlights. They boxed in the vehicle at a quiet intersection, transforming a peaceful night into a terrifying ambush.
As Omar instinctively tried to maneuver around the blockade, the gunmen unleashed a barrage of fire. Bullets ripped through the car, striking Omar in the head. Kelly was wounded, a searing pain blossoming in her hand, shoulder, and the back of her head, while a friend in the backseat miraculously escaped unharmed.
