CAR DEALER SCAM EXPOSED: Florida Couple's Empire CRUMBLING!

CAR DEALER SCAM EXPOSED: Florida Couple's Empire CRUMBLING!

A Florida couple’s pursuit of luxury and profit has spiraled into a web of deceit, culminating in a cascade of criminal charges. Emily Marie Lucci, 30, and Michael Anthony Lucci, 32, once operated Luxury Auto Source, a dealership now at the center of a sprawling fraud investigation.

The trouble began with a single, suspicious invoice – a claim for thousands of dollars in repairs on a 2020 Nissan GT-R. This initial red flag prompted the Florida Highway Patrol to delve deeper, uncovering a pattern of fraudulent activity that extended far beyond a single vehicle.

Investigators soon discovered that Luxury Auto Source wasn’t dealing in legitimate transactions. Eight other high-end vehicles, including a 2017 Bentley, a 2022 Porsche 911, and a 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, bore the hallmarks of manipulation – fraudulent invoices and altered titles.

The deception didn’t stop at falsified paperwork. One vehicle, the Dodge Charger, was found to have multiple Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs), and its engine was traced back to a theft committed in another state. The scale of the operation was becoming increasingly alarming.

In late January, the Florida Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at Luxury Auto Source. Michael Lucci was immediately taken into custody, while his wife, Emily, later surrendered to authorities. The couple now faces a staggering list of charges.

The accusations include nine counts each of making false statements, possessing counterfeit titles and registrations, perjury, and uttering forged instruments. Adding to the severity, they are also charged with racketeering and organized fraud – offenses that carry significant penalties.

Both Emily and Michael Lucci were released on $30,000 bond each, but the legal battle is far from over. The investigation continues to unravel the extent of their alleged scheme and the impact on those who unknowingly purchased vehicles through Luxury Auto Source.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the lengths to which some will go in pursuit of financial gain, and the meticulous work law enforcement undertakes to expose such elaborate deceptions.
