TEXAS SCHOOL UNDER SIEGE: Radical Islamic Propaganda Found!

A quiet lunch hour at Wylie East High School in Texas took an unsettling turn when students were offered religious materials by representatives of an organization called Why Islam. Hijabs were distributed to female students, alongside copies of the Quran and pamphlets detailing Sharia law – all during school hours, funded by taxpayer dollars.

The incident, brought to light by the president of the High School Republicans, quickly sparked concern. Beyond the immediate distribution of materials, a deeper investigation reveals troubling connections surrounding Why Islam and its parent organizations.

Why Islam isn’t operating in a vacuum. It functions as a key outreach program for the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). ICNA, in turn, serves as the primary representative in the U.S. for Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), a South Asian Islamist movement with a history of radical elements.

The militant wing of JeI, Hizbul Mujahideen, has been officially designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. government since 2017. This connection raises serious questions about the ideology being presented to impressionable students.

Past investigations have uncovered links between ICNA’s websites and groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and militant organizations operating in Afghanistan and Kashmir. ICNA has also provided support to groups known for radicalizing children in support of terrorist activities.

Experts warn that this isn’t simply about religious outreach. It’s a calculated effort to introduce a worldview fundamentally at odds with American principles. The distribution of Sharia law pamphlets, in particular, raises concerns given its often-cited incompatibility with the U.S. Constitution.

Melanie Kurdys, a board member with a national education advocacy group, drew a stark parallel to the infiltration of the Chinese Communist Party into American schools through Confucius Institutes. She cautioned that unchecked proselytization could represent a similar threat.

While acknowledging the possibility that those distributing the materials may be unaware of the larger network, Kurdys emphasized the importance of vigilance. She questioned the lack of reciprocal opportunities for other faith groups to share their beliefs within the school.

The core question remains: why was this particular group granted exclusive access to students? And why were materials promoting a legal system often viewed as conflicting with American law permitted on school grounds?

Kurdys’s warning is clear: parents must be proactive in protecting their children. She suggests considering alternatives to public education, such as homeschooling or private schools, as a means of safeguarding their values and beliefs.
