Billionaire Les Wexner Under Oath Tells Lawmakers Jeffrey Epstein Was a Financial Adviser for The Rothschild Family (VIDEO)

Billionaire Les Wexner Under Oath Tells Lawmakers Jeffrey Epstein Was a Financial Adviser for The Rothschild Family (VIDEO)

Newly released footage reveals billionaire Les Wexner undergoing intense questioning by the House Oversight Committee regarding his long-standing relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The deposition, lasting nearly five hours, has now been made public, offering a stark look into Wexner’s testimony.

Under oath, Wexner vehemently denied any knowledge or witnessing of Epstein’s criminal activities. He maintained his innocence, yet detailed the initial trust he placed in Epstein, a trust that would ultimately become deeply problematic.

Wexner explained his initial confidence in Epstein stemmed from what he perceived as impressive credentials. He cited Epstein’s experience at Bear Stearns and, crucially, his purported work for the Rothschild family in France as key factors in his decision to employ him as a personal finance manager.

Specifically, Wexner stated he directly verified Epstein’s claims with Élie de Rothschild. He recounted speaking with de Rothschild himself, solidifying his belief in Epstein’s professional capabilities and trustworthiness.

Reports indicate Ariane de Rothschild, head of the Edmond de Rothschild Swiss bank, engaged in numerous communications with Epstein, even scheduling meetings with him after his conviction. These interactions raise further questions about the extent of Epstein’s network and influence.

During the deposition, a committee member directly questioned Wexner about whether Epstein had ever provided him with women for sexual purposes. Wexner offered a firm denial, stating unequivocally, “Absolutely not.” His reaction to the question has drawn significant attention.

Despite repeated denials, Wexner conceded to having visited Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He characterized the visit as a brief stop during a family cruise, claiming his wife and children were with him for only a few hours.

Wexner revealed he revoked Epstein’s power of attorney in September 2007, prior to Epstein’s guilty plea in Florida on charges related to soliciting a minor. This action, however, came after years of a close professional relationship.

The release of this footage has ignited renewed scrutiny of Wexner’s involvement and knowledge surrounding Epstein’s crimes, prompting further investigation into the complex web of connections surrounding the convicted offender.
