TEXAS CANDIDATE BETRAYS AMERICA: "MY HEART IS IN MEXICO!

A congressional candidate in Texas, Abraham Enriquez, recently revealed a deeply personal connection to Mexico during a conversation on his own podcast. At the 51:50 mark, he stated plainly that his “heart is in Mexico,” a sentiment that raises questions given his campaign’s “America First” platform.

This declaration seems particularly noteworthy considering Enriquez’s long-standing advocacy for what’s known as “comprehensive immigration reform.” His past actions suggest a willingness to support policies that diverge significantly from strict border control measures.

Reports indicate Enriquez previously voiced support for Representative Maria Salazar’s “Dignity Act,” a bill offering a pathway to citizenship for millions currently residing in the country without legal status. He also backed the Bipartisan Border Solutions Act, criticized by some as incentivizing further illegal immigration by expanding processing capacity.

Following the launch of his campaign, evidence of his support for these amnesty bills vanished from his social media feed, a tweet advocating for the measures having been deleted. This removal sparked scrutiny regarding the consistency of his political positions.

Enriquez has openly discussed his Hispanic heritage, detailing frequent trips to Mexico where his grandparents reside. He views his ties to the country as an integral part of his identity, a connection he believes should be celebrated.

He passionately argued that rejecting an understanding of his values and culture is equivalent to rejecting his story and its potential contribution to the broader American narrative. This perspective underscores a desire for inclusivity and recognition of diverse backgrounds.

Interestingly, Enriquez publicly criticized Donald Trump in 2020, publishing his views in The Atlantic. While acknowledging Trump’s controversial 2015 comments about Mexico weren’t perfectly phrased, he noted the former president did concede “it wasn’t all Mexicans.”

More recently, in 2024, Enriquez accepted a position on the board of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino (FRIENDS). This organization has since amplified the voices of progressive political activists, including figures within the transgender and drag communities.

FRIENDS also shared a statement from Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, a Democrat, that made accusations against the Trump Administration, alleging ICE agents were “oppressing Americans” and “brutalizing U.S. citizens and law-abiding immigrants.”

A significant oversight emerged when Enriquez filed his Financial Disclosure Report as a federal candidate in December 2025. He failed to disclose his involvement with FRIENDS, a potential ethics violation that has raised concerns about transparency and potential hidden affiliations.

This omission fuels speculation about what other aspects of his background and beliefs Enriquez might be deliberately concealing from voters in Texas, leaving many to question the full scope of his political agenda.
