JUDGE MELTDOWN: Bodycam EXPOSES Drunk, Raging Cadillac Crash!

JUDGE MELTDOWN: Bodycam EXPOSES Drunk, Raging Cadillac Crash!

A respected figure in the legal world, 72-year-old US District Judge Thomas Ludington, appointed by President George W. Bush, faced a stunning fall from grace last October. Newly released police bodycam footage reveals a disturbing scene following a single-vehicle crash involving the judge’s Cadillac.

The video paints a stark picture of a man struggling with reality. Despite the obvious circumstances, Judge Ludington vehemently denied consuming any alcohol, slurring his words as he questioned how his car ended up damaged and why the airbags had deployed.

A subsequent breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.27 – a shocking figure more than three times Michigan’s legal limit. This level classifies him as a “super drunk” under state law, significantly escalating the severity of the charges.

A man in a white shirt stands beside a car, with a police vehicle and sunset in the background, indicating a potential traffic stop.

The incident unfolded in Emmet County, leading to accusations of operating while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.17. The bodycam footage shows the judge’s increasing confusion and difficulty following simple police instructions.

As officers attempted to administer sobriety tests, Judge Ludington displayed visible frustration and argumentative behavior. The situation deteriorated further when he was asked to provide a breath sample, culminating in a barrage of profanity directed at the arresting officer as he was being placed in the patrol car.

Prior to this incident, Judge Ludington enjoyed a long and distinguished career in Michigan law, practicing since 1980 and receiving a federal appointment in 2006. His decades of service and respected position now stand in stark contrast to the events captured on the police bodycam.

A formal complaint has been filed with a federal court watchdog regarding the judge’s conduct. He is scheduled to return to court in April for a status conference, where the legal proceedings will continue to unfold.

When directly questioned by the officer – “How much have you had to drink tonight?” – Judge Ludington responded with a defiant gesture and a startling claim: “Seriously, I don’t think I had anything!” This denial, captured on video, adds another layer of complexity to the case.
