The SM Mall of Asia Central Atrium recently transformed into a bustling showcase of automotive innovation, as the United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) launched its “UAAGI On the Move” roadshow. For four days, visitors experienced a comprehensive display of vehicles from BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar – a testament to UAAGI’s diverse portfolio.
UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin envisioned the event as more than just a car show; it was a direct connection to customers, highlighting both the quality of their vehicles and the robust support system backing every purchase. The roadshow wasn’t simply about viewing cars, but experiencing them firsthand.
Over twenty models – encompassing turbocharged internal combustion engines, hybrids, and fully electric vehicles – were available for test drives. Exclusive promotions, including potential cash discounts up to P100,000 and on-site financing, streamlined the path to ownership. A unique addition was a second-hand car appraisal service, allowing customers to trade in their existing vehicles towards a brand-new purchase.
UAAGI Auto Group Executive Director Timothy Sytin emphasized the company’s commitment to accessibility, aiming to make acquiring a new vehicle a simple and seamless process for Filipinos. This dedication extends beyond the sale, focusing on world-class mobility solutions and unwavering customer service.
The roadshow also served as a platform to unveil ambitious plans for 2026. BAIC Philippines intends to expand its SUV offerings, promising “bigger value” with each new vehicle. Chery Auto Philippines announced updates to existing models and the introduction of two new energy vehicles, accompanied by the launch of the REV app for remote vehicle control and charging status monitoring.
Lynk & Co is poised to enhance its premium customer experiences and introduce two new energy vehicles, while Radar plans to solidify its national presence with ten new locations. Jetour Auto Philippines is gearing up for a dynamic year, with the launch of the Jetour G700 SUV and the F700 pickup, alongside a top-tier “Lightning Panther” edition of its T1 lineup.
Foton Motor Philippines is accelerating its transition to electric vehicles, showcasing the Traveller Siera EV and promising further expansion in the EV segment. General Manager Levy Santos highlighted the brand’s commitment to sustainable transport, offering solutions tailored for public transport and corporate fleets, emphasizing fuel savings and reduced maintenance.
UAAGI’s “On the Move” roadshow wasn’t just a display of vehicles; it was a declaration of intent – a commitment to providing Filipinos with a diverse range of mobility solutions, backed by exceptional service and a forward-looking vision for the future of automotive technology.
