ADAMS EXPLODES: Congressman Sides With TERRORISTS?!

ADAMS EXPLODES: Congressman Sides With TERRORISTS?!

Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams launched a scathing critique of his successor, Zohran Mamdani, and politicians across the ideological spectrum following U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran. Adams didn’t hesitate to challenge figures within his own party, voicing concerns about what he perceived as misplaced sympathy for the Iranian government.

He highlighted a stark contrast between the public protests and the sentiments of many Iranian Americans in New York City. According to Adams, these community members were celebrating the U.S. action, viewing it as a long-overdue confrontation with a regime responsible for decades of suffering inflicted upon their families.

Adams condemned those protesting the strikes as “political fanatics” blinded by ideology, accusing them of defending a government notorious for its brutal oppression. He specifically cited the regime’s treatment of women, LGBTQ+ individuals, its support for terrorism, and its open hostility towards the United States.

He delivered a pointed message to those defending the Iranian government, stating they were “morally hollow” rather than genuinely anti-war. Adams shared images of New Yorkers, including children, displaying Iranian flags in support of the strikes.

The exchange stemmed from a direct response to Mamdani’s criticism of the military action. Mamdani characterized the strikes as a “catastrophic escalation” and an “illegal war of aggression,” emphasizing the desire of Americans for peace and economic relief.

Mamdani directly addressed Iranian American New Yorkers, assuring them of their safety and acknowledging their integral role in the city’s fabric. His statement, however, drew sharp rebuke from Adams.

Adams had previously celebrated the death of Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei, describing him as a ruler defined by fear, repression, and brutality. He reaffirmed his solidarity with the Iranian people, expressing hope for their liberation and a future free from tyranny.

His comments garnered bipartisan support, including praise from former Secretary of Defense James Mattis, who echoed Adams’ sentiment that many Iranian Americans welcomed the action against the regime. Mattis emphasized the importance of continued support for U.S. forces.

Reports surfaced of celebrations erupting in cities worldwide, including Washington, Berlin, and Sydney, following the strikes. Some observers suggested Adams’ forceful stance on this issue highlighted a contrast with his approach during the recent campaign.

The situation ignited a fierce debate, exposing deep divisions regarding the appropriate response to Iran’s actions and the complex dynamics between geopolitical strategy and the plight of the Iranian people.
