Currently, the most viable path involves utilizing shuttle buses provided by Israel’s Ministry of Tourism to reach Taba, Egypt, followed by flights from there – or onward to Cairo – for eventual return to the United States. The reopening of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv remains uncertain.
Even when the airport resumes operations, flights will be drastically limited, prioritizing passengers already holding tickets with El Al. The prospect of other airlines resuming service in the near future appears dim.
