IRAN ONSLAUGHT: US Unleashes 1700+ Strikes in Fury Blitz!

IRAN ONSLAUGHT: US Unleashes 1700+ Strikes in Fury Blitz!

In the opening seventy-two hours of Operation Epic Fury, U.S. forces have engaged over 1,700 targets within Iran, initiating a sweeping military campaign. The operation’s core objective is the systematic dismantling of the Iranian regime’s security apparatus and the neutralization of perceived, immediate dangers.

The strikes have been meticulously focused on crippling the heart of Iran’s military command and its capacity to strike. Command and control centers, including the IRGC Joint Headquarters and Aerospace Forces Headquarters, have been neutralized, alongside critical integrated air defense systems and ballistic missile sites.

This isn’t limited to land-based targets. Iranian naval vessels – ships and submarines – along with anti-ship missile installations and vital military communication networks have also been targeted. This broad assault signals a determined effort to disrupt Tehran’s ability to coordinate military actions and project power across all fronts.

Notably, nuclear facilities have been explicitly excluded from the list of targets. Officials emphasize that the operation is prioritizing locations representing an “imminent threat,” specifically assets capable of launching missile attacks, sustaining naval operations, or orchestrating defensive responses.

The sheer scale of assets deployed underscores the complexity and ambition of this campaign. Strategic bombers – B-1s, B-2s, and B-52s – are operating alongside a diverse array of fighter jets, including F-15s, F-16s, F-18s, and the advanced stealth capabilities of F-22s and F-35s.

Supporting these air assets are A-10 attack jets, EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft, airborne early warning systems, and communication relay aircraft. Ground-based missile defense systems, like Patriot and THAAD, are also deployed, alongside mobile artillery rocket systems.

The naval component is equally substantial, featuring nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, guided-missile destroyers, maritime patrol aircraft, reconnaissance planes, and Reaper drones. Counter-drone systems, refueling tankers, and transport aircraft complete the picture, alongside classified “special capabilities” currently undisclosed.

With over 1,700 targets hit in just three days, Operation Epic Fury represents a large-scale, multi-domain assault designed to systematically dismantle Iran’s command infrastructure, air defenses, missile capabilities, and naval assets.

The operation has not been without cost. Six U.S. service members have been killed during the campaign. A tragic friendly fire incident in Kuwait resulted in the loss of three F-15s.

Intelligence reports indicate at least 48 high-ranking Iranian leaders have been killed in coordinated U.S.-Israeli operations. The focus, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, is on “the destruction of their ballistic missile capabilities, and their ability to manufacture them,” as well as neutralizing the threat posed by the Iranian navy to international shipping lanes.

Despite the intensity of the operation, officials, including Secretary Rubio and War Secretary Pete Hegseth, have stated that regime change is not the primary objective. The stated goal remains the elimination of specific, immediate threats posed by the Iranian military apparatus.
