A terrifying scene unfolded Thursday afternoon in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, as a vehicle was deliberately driven into Temple Israel synagogue, followed by gunfire.

The unfolding events occurred around 1 pm Eastern Time, with multiple police vehicles and ambulances converging on the synagogue located on Walnut Lake Road – a landmark as one of the largest Reform synagogues in the United States.
