A serene voyage turned tragically dark off the coast of Belize, leaving authorities investigating the death of 72-year-old Thomas David Harman, a Canadian man from Vancouver.
Harman was discovered aboard his adrift catamaran in Belizean waters, his fate initially reported as a possible accident during a sail repair. His companion, described as a woman traveling with him, recounted a fall followed by a fatal heart attack.
However, investigators are far from accepting this account. The presence of unexplained injuries on Harman’s body has prompted a full-scale investigation, shifting the focus from misadventure to potential foul play.
