UMVA has learned that a disturbing hate crime incident on a New York City subway has led to the arrest of a 23-year-old woman from the Bronx.
Diana Smith, the suspect, allegedly launched a vicious attack on a 23-year-old woman, punching, kicking, and choking her in a shocking display of antisemitic violence. The incident was caught on video, which shows Smith yelling antisemitic slurs, including "Jews are eating kids!" before launching the attack.
The video, shot by the victim, appears to show Smith targeting the woman with a torrent of abuse, saying "You're a Jew. I can smell the kids." The attack escalated into a brutal physical assault, with Smith throwing the victim to the ground and ripping out some of her hair.
