NIH IS WASTING YOUR MONEY ON TRANSGENDER ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS—REPUBLICANS DEMAND ANSWERS!

NIH IS WASTING YOUR MONEY ON TRANSGENDER ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS—REPUBLICANS DEMAND ANSWERS!

A growing chorus of concern is echoing through the halls of Congress, ignited by revelations of federally funded animal experiments designed to mimic human transgender transitions. Nineteen Republican House members, spearheaded by Representative Paul Gosar, are demanding a complete halt to National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding for these controversial procedures.

The impetus for this demand stems from investigations conducted by the White Coat Waste Project, which recently uncovered a new $584,117 grant awarded to the University of California–San Diego. This funding will support research involving the creation of “transgender” mice, raising profound ethical questions about the use of taxpayer dollars.

Details of the experiments are deeply disturbing. Researchers are subjecting thousands of female mice to invasive surgeries, including ovary removal, followed by testosterone injections – all in an attempt to “model transgender men.” The ordeal doesn’t end there.

A laboratory mouse stands in front of a syringe and a transgender pride flag, symbolizing medical research and inclusivity in science.

The project’s scope extends far beyond hormone manipulation. Scientists plan to drill into the skulls of these animals, inject toxins into their brains, and ultimately, decapitate them. Nearly 10,000 mice are projected to be impacted by these procedures.

This isn’t an isolated incident. The White Coat Waste Project has identified dozens of NIH grants, issued during the Biden Administration, that fund the creation of “transfeminine” and “transmasculine” lab animals – mice, rats, and even monkeys – intended to mirror human transgender experiences.

These animals endure a harrowing series of interventions: invasive surgeries, hormone therapies, inflicted wounds, electric shocks, and injections of both street drugs and vaccines. The cumulative effect is a portrait of significant animal suffering.

The renewed funding is particularly jarring given previous assurances from Health and Human Services (HHS) officials that such experiments were no longer being supported. A prior statement indicated no current funding for transgender animal experiments existed.

This latest discovery builds upon earlier reports detailing the use of taxpayer money to create “transgender monkeys” through estrogen administration and mRNA vaccine injections, all in the name of studying feminizing hormone therapy. The experiments continue to fuel a fierce debate about research priorities and ethical boundaries.

Representative Gosar has been vocal in his opposition, stating that taxpayer dollars should not be allocated to what he calls “sickening transgender animal tests.” He is collaborating with the White Coat Waste Project to permanently end this practice.

The core argument centers on the fundamental question of value. Critics argue that these experiments represent a misuse of public funds, diverting resources from potentially life-saving research while inflicting unnecessary pain on vulnerable animals. The demand to “stop the money” and “stop the madness” reflects a growing sentiment that these procedures are both ethically questionable and scientifically dubious.
