TEENAGER'S INSANE SPEED RUN: Passengers in TRUNK?!

TEENAGER'S INSANE SPEED RUN: Passengers in TRUNK?!

A routine traffic stop on Highway 406 north of Welland revealed a shocking and dangerous situation Sunday night. A 17-year-old driver was clocked traveling at a staggering 202 km/h in a zone limited to 110 km/h – nearly double the speed limit.

The reckless speed wasn’t the only disturbing detail. As officers prepared to tow the vehicle, they discovered two passengers concealed within the trunk, adding a terrifying layer to the already perilous scenario. Four individuals were initially accounted for inside the car.

The young driver now faces a multitude of charges, including stunt driving, careless driving, violating restrictions for novice drivers, failing to produce a permit, and lacking proof of insurance. The vehicle, belonging to the driver’s father, was impounded for 14 days, and the driver’s license suspended for a month.

In Toronto, a 50-year-old man has been arrested and charged in a complex fraud investigation that began last August. The alleged scheme involved falsely claiming to invest the victims’ money in vacant land, but in reality, no returns were ever provided. Modi is accused of forging documents to maintain the illusion of legitimate investment activity. He now faces multiple counts of fraud and possession of proceeds obtained through crime.

A second resident intervened and was violently assaulted. The suspect fled empty-handed, leaving both victims with serious, though non-life-threatening, injuries. Toronto Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a deceased woman found near Union Station on January 26th. The death was not deemed suspicious, but investigators are struggling to establish the woman’s identity.

She is described as an elderly female, approximately 5-foot-2, with a thin build and short greying hair. She was wearing a black winter jacket, grey hooded sweater, black jeans, and black boots. An artist’s rendering has been released in hopes of generating leads and bringing closure to this case.
