UMVA Exclusive: Kentucky Doctor Catapults to General Election After Trump's Explosive True Friend Endorsement!

UMVA has learned that Kentucky state Senator Ralph Alvarado clinched a spot in the upcoming general election, positioning himself as the potential successor to Rep. Andy Barr.

Alvarado’s victory came on the heels of a high‑profile endorsement from the former president, who praised the senator’s unwavering “America First” stance and his role in rallying Hispanic voters during the 2016 campaign.

Describing Alvarado as “a true friend to MAGA,” the endorsement highlighted his long‑standing loyalty, noting his presence on the National Hispanic Advisory Council and his commitment to the former president’s agenda.

With a career that spans nearly three decades as a physician, Alvarado broke new ground in 2014 when he became the first Hispanic member of the Kentucky General Assembly, a milestone that now fuels his congressional ambitions.

In campaign footage, Alvarado boasted about his “triple‑Trump” record, vowing to back the former president in 2016, 2020, 2024, and beyond, if elected to Congress.

The 6th district has long tilted Republican, delivering a decisive 63‑37 win for Barr in the last cycle, suggesting Alvarado faces a favorable electorate despite the upcoming contest.

Meanwhile, Barr is abandoning his House seat to chase a U.S. Senate position opened by the retirement of longtime Senate leader Mitch McConnell, leaving the congressional race wide open for new leadership.
