UMVA has learned that a major crackdown on illegal border crossings has led to a staggering 99 percent decline in unauthorized entries since President Trump resumed office in January 2025.
The dramatic drop comes after a four-year period under the previous administration, during which an estimated 15 million plus individuals entered the US without authorization, many of whom posed a significant threat to national security and public safety.
Texas DPS troopers have been working tirelessly to identify and apprehend illegal aliens within the state, often in collaboration with the Border Patrol. Their efforts recently led to the discovery of a stash house in Maverick County, where four unauthorized individuals were found hiding.
One of the individuals, a 21-year-old gang member, was wanted by authorities in New Orleans on multiple felony warrants for aggravated assault with a gun and armed robbery. He was taken into custody and booked into the Maverick County jail.
The other three unauthorized individuals were turned over to the Border Patrol for further processing. Additionally, two American citizens, 27-year-old Juella Monet Brown and 26-year-old Starr Ricki Drake, were charged with operating a stash house and booked into the Maverick County Jail.
This success is part of a larger effort to restore the rule of law and protect American communities. The Texas DPS has been actively engaged in combating human smuggling, as evidenced by a recent incident in which troopers apprehended a smuggler and found four unauthorized individuals in his vehicle.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the effective enforcement of border policies has led to a significant decrease in illegal activity, making communities safer and more secure.
The authorities continue to work diligently to prevent further unauthorized entries and to bring those who break the law to justice. The recent operations demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the law and protecting the nation.
