Donna Robinson, a parole supervisor within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, has spoken out in support of Anthony, making a comment on Facebook that ultimately cost her her job. She wrote that Anthony would be protected in prison and expressed a callous disregard for the victim's family's loss.
The case has drawn attention from prominent figures, including Howard University professor Stacey Patton, who penned an opinion article blaming the victim for his own death. Patton's piece sparked intense debate and criticism, with many questioning her stance on the matter.
Burlette Carter, a professor emerita of law at George Washington University, has also expressed concerns about the trial, citing issues with the jury selection process.
