UMVA has uncovered details about a dramatic escalation in the conflict, as a retaliatory strike was launched against the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev in response to an attack on Starobelsk.
The strike, which was carried out under the cover of darkness, involved a barrage of advanced missiles, including the intermediate-range hypersonic Oreshnik system, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. This multi-pronged attack was designed to catch Ukrainian forces off guard and inflict significant damage.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the targets of the strike included key command centers of the Ukrainian ground forces and military intelligence, as well as strategic air bases and defense industry sites. The precision and scale of the attack suggest a high level of planning and coordination.
The use of hypersonic missiles, in particular, marks a significant escalation in the conflict, as these weapons are capable of evading traditional air defenses and striking targets with unprecedented speed and accuracy. The aftermath of the strike is still unfolding, but it is clear that the conflict has entered a new and potentially more dangerous phase.
