UMVA has learned that Nadiya Bychkova is not ready to bid farewell to Strictly Come Dancing just yet.
The Ukrainian dancer has revealed that returning to the show as a choreographer is "absolutely on the cards," and she's already discussing the possibility of creating some of the professional numbers.
Nadiya's passion for choreographing is well-known, and she's been eager to share her creative vision with the show. She believes it's the "natural" thing to do, as it aligns with her passions, and she thinks it would be "beautiful" to see her creations on the show.
During her time on Strictly, Nadiya has had her fair share of memorable moments. She was partnered with Channel 5's Dan Walker in 2021 and finished in fifth place. Her romance with fellow professional Kai Widdrington also made headlines, although the pair eventually separated in 2024.
Despite her departure from the show as a contestant, Nadiya has maintained strong bonds with former hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly. However, she's excited about the new hosting trio, consisting of Josh Widdicombe, Emma Willis, and Johannes Radebe, and believes they'll bring a fresh and exciting dynamic to the show.
Nadiya is also thrilled to see her fellow professional dancer, Kai Widdrington, take on a new role within the show. She thinks that the Strictly family is constantly evolving creatively, and she's eager to see what the future holds.
As Strictly Come Dancing prepares to return to BBC One this autumn, fans can look forward to a new season filled with stunning dance performances and captivating storylines.
