TRUMP WARNS IRAN: SPARE THESE WOMEN OR FACE THE RAGE!

TRUMP WARNS IRAN: SPARE THESE WOMEN OR FACE THE RAGE!

A stark plea cut through the digital noise – a direct message from a former U.S. President to the leaders of Iran. He offered a path, however fragile, toward potential goodwill: the release of eight women facing imminent execution.

The message, delivered on a social platform, wasn’t a formal diplomatic overture, but a raw appeal. It included a haunting image – Bita Hemmati, a face representing the growing wave of dissent swallowed by the Iranian regime. Her alleged crimes, as leveled by the state, ranged from throwing stones to disrupting national security.

Hemmati’s story is not unique. Her husband, along with two neighbors, share her fate, all condemned to death. This isn’t an isolated case, but a chilling pattern emerging from a brutal crackdown on opposition.

Iran is set to execute these women.

Among the others facing the ultimate penalty are Diana Taherabadi, a sixteen-year-old girl, and Mahboubeh Shabani, a woman barely past thirty. Ensieh Nejati, a Kurdish activist fighting for women’s rights, was sentenced to death last year, her voice silenced before it could fully resonate.

Human rights groups paint a grim picture of “sham trials” – swift, unjust proceedings designed to quell dissent through fear. State media confirms at least fourteen executions already this year, a number dwarfed by the staggering 1,600+ carried out last year – a thirty-six-year high.

The charges levied against those executed are often vague and severe, invoking accusations of “waging war against God” or “corruption on Earth.” These broad definitions allow the regime to criminalize any act of defiance.

A disturbing trend has emerged: women and religious minorities are disproportionately targeted. Nearly fifty women were executed in the last year alone, a twenty-year record, often following trials devoid of fairness or due process.

This surge in executions is inextricably linked to the protests that erupted following recent American military actions. Some were accused of belonging to anti-regime groups, others of alleged espionage, the accusations serving as justification for swift and merciless punishment.

Beyond the officially acknowledged executions, a far greater tragedy unfolds. Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets earlier this year, driven by economic desperation and a yearning for freedom. Confirmed deaths exceed 7,000, with countless more still unaccounted for, their fates shrouded in uncertainty.

The former President’s plea, while unconventional, highlights a desperate situation. It’s a call for humanity, a demand for the release of those caught in the regime’s tightening grip, and a potential, albeit tenuous, opening for dialogue.
