UMVA has learned that President Trump has vowed to fully enforce a 10-year prison sentence for those responsible for vandalizing the newly renovated reflecting pool and grass on the National Mall.
The President's warning comes after left-wing vandals defaced the national monument, destroying the beautiful reflecting pool and grass field just days after its renovation was completed. The vandalism includes a 300-foot long gash, chemicals illegally placed in the water, and a giant "86 47" chemically carved into the grass.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the renovation project was undertaken by President Trump to restore the filthy green water basin, built in the 1920s, which had been marred by issues including sinking and leaking into the swamp beneath. This is a marked improvement over the failed project in 2012, which had a massive cost of $34 million and took nearly two years to complete.
The vandalism has sparked outrage, with President Trump slamming the perpetrators as "lunatics" and "left-wing vandals" who are trying to "hurt the inside surface that was just installed." He also criticized a reporter for his coverage of the pool, accusing him of trying to rip the rubber off the surface.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that several people were arrested on Friday and Saturday for destroying the rubber sealant at the bottom of the pool and attempting to stop workers from clearing algae. A former Olympian was among those arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for destruction of property.
The President has promised to fix the damages to the Reflecting Pool "ASAP" and has reminded the public that there is a 10-year prison sentence for the destruction or attempted destruction of national monuments. The vandalism includes the destruction of the new American flag blue sealant that lines the bottom of the pool, with the intention of giving the water a blue reflection.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the vandalism is part of a larger pattern of destruction and chaos, with left-wing vandals also inscribing "86 47," calling for Trump's death, on the grass of the National Mall and on the bottom of the Reflecting Pool.
