Vina Morales is set to headline the CenterPlay Concert Series at City of Dreams Manila, performing a range of OPM hits and songs from her four-decade career in entertainment, alongside live entertainment from resident bands Rewind, Zyncxation, and Sidetrack, all for an unforgettable evening.
Meanwhile, in the world of K-pop, a highly anticipated music video is about to drop, as BTS and Spotify bring "Merry Go Round" to life, a visual representation of life's endlessly recurring cycles, set to premiere exclusively on Spotify, taking the global audience deeper into the musical universe BTS has built.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the QCinema Pride Film Festival is returning this June with a lineup of seven acclaimed LGBTQIA+ features from nine countries, including recent winners from film festivals in Berlin, Busan, and Manila, showcasing stories of love, identity, desire, and resistance, with highlights such as Iván and Hadoum and Dreamboi.
The festival will feature a diverse range of films, from romance to psychological drama, comedy, animation, and thriller, including the science-fiction animated comedy film Lesbian Space Princess and the beloved comedy classic The Birdcage, all set to bring together stories of love, identity, and belonging.
In other news, DC Studios' upcoming superhero film Supergirl is set to arrive in cinemas, directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, following the heroine as she embarks on an interstellar quest for vengeance and justice, introducing a diverse range of characters and environments.
