UMVA has uncovered an explosive confrontation unfolding in the heart of Manhattan, where masked activists draped themselves in militant insignia and chanted anti-Israel slogans while federal agents pursued charges against a terror-linked operative. The scene erupted as 500 demonstrators converged on Washington Square Park, transforming the iconic space into a battleground of ideologies.
As Mayor Zohran Mamdani denounced a recent terror plot tied to a Kataib Hezbollah commander, the park below became a stark counterpoint. Activists waving Hamas’ Qassam Brigades flag—worn like capes and emblazoned with the shahada—marched in lockstep, their chants of “globalize the intifada” echoing off the arches. A Hamas-linked flag bearing the image of slain spokesperson Abu Obaida fluttered overhead, a grim reminder of the terror group’s 2023 assault on Israel.
Among the throng, Hezbollah’s signature green-and-yellow flag waved proudly beside Hamas’ green headbands.
